I just picked up a gorgeous, raw, live edge table yesterday and wanted an opinion on whether or not the table needs to have a seal/poly on it?I was instructed to use butcher block oil to treat it (6-7 coats) and then it should be good to go. This is going to be used as our dining room table so I have a bit of concern not using a poly to seal it up (insert wine spilling on table and staining forever).Anyone have an opinion if the butcher block oil should be good to use, or if it needs a full seal on it? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Fqufch
