MSCI EAFE has been calculated annually since 1970; I am wondering if there is a way to get data on pre-1970 EAFE returns? The following link has a chart, mid way down the page, titled "Annual Total Real Stock Market Returns":

The chart shows EAFE returns...except each data point is a 10-year average. I am wondering if someone knows where I could get access on annual EAFE, even if the data are just estimates.
