Margin Question: If I buy shares of a stock for $5000 on margin and I sell for $4500 how do I pay the difference?

If I lose technically $500 with margin money, how do I pay that? Do they give me a deadline and directions on where to send the money? I assume I will be paying interest as well.

Just curious as to how I actually pay my losses to my brokerage firm
