Verizon is my phone carrier. If I turn on airplane mode for the duration of my trip, will if help me avoid all international travel fees? I would still like to use my phone to take pictures and connect to WiFi to access social media and email.
Although, I have no need to purchase a SIM card when I am in the country and would not like to cancel my current plan at the moment or pay for any international plans.
