My son is going to be 4 and has autism. He has a great calm down area at his school that's sensory friendly. It really helps him keep a level head. We've stopped sleeping through the night and he's escalating at night. I think a room similar to his school's sensory room will help him! I really want to replicate it at home, but all of it is so expensive!
here are some things that are the same or almost the same
His room is 10x10 and he still sleeps in a toddler bed, so we have some space but not a lot. We don't have the kind of money to buy the exact same things the schools have, but I know I can find a better way.
Any ideas?
