Hello Everyone,

I received a bill today from an urgent care visit I had back in December. What happened was I was feeling very ill and i checked in and they did a swab and let me know i had two strains of the flu and strep. They advised me to visit the hospital, which I did.

I just so happen to get the bill and after an ekg, blood samples, urine sample and tons of fluids pumped into me this urgent care visit some how cost more than my hospital visit (after insurance).

The above is a link to my bill, they are charging me 182.12 for a new patient level 4, 14.20 for a Tylenol pill and 20.00 for an anti vomiting pill.

Is this common practice? Again I came in, layed down, swabbed, and the two pills before i had family come and pick me up.

If someone can help me make sense of this I would appreciate it heavily.

Thank you!
