So I live in California. I walked off a job of 1 year and a half, and do not regret it as I immediately found something much better. Just received my final check after over a week, however my ~8 hours of vacation pay wasn't on the check. Should I:

a)Text the immediate manager and let her know (which I've already done and received no response)

b)Text the district manager and let him know (which I've already done and again, no response)

c)Text the district manager and threaten to file a wage claim against the company.

or

d)Just proceed to file a wage claim against the company.

This is a major fast food restaurant in America, that like most fast food restaurants makes thousands of dollars off of minimum wage overworked labor.

What do you guys recommend? I don't need the $100 but of course if the law says I'm entitled to it, there's no reason why I wouldn't want an extra $100.
