My partner and I have a combined of $1400 for housing, for rent and utilities. We can’t seem to find anything close to our jobs. We have to live either in a bad area with high crime or live 25-30 mins away. We want to live closer to the city, near our jobs, and a good school for our daughter, walking distances to parks and stores.
What should we comprise? Should I stretch my 30% rule?
