Not sure if there are any tax experts on this subreddit, but here's my question: I live in Manhattan and 'reverse commute' to New Jersey for work. If I found a job in Manhattan for the same salary, would I see more or less taxes taken out of my paycheck? Some sources are telling me that working in Manhattan is more heavily taxed, while other sources are telling me that living and working in two different states usually results in a higher tax payment. Any ideas?
