I’m 23, I started learning from this subreddit on saving money for the future. And had to learn it the hard way because my spending left me realizing I had no savings at all whatsoever. So now I’m saving as hard as I can.
Right now I work a regular job that’s about 12k a year, so I make roughly 500 bi weekly. I’m also a full time student and I have an associate degree in computer engineering and I’m in school right now pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science.
I just want to ask anyone here, is will my financial situation get better? Everyone on here has jobs of like 85k - 200k yearly salaries. Houses at 21-25. Savings of 30 - 80k. And it feels like I’m at a snails pace. Especially with school. Maybe it might be a confidence issue, but it seems like all I will do is deadend jobs. I’m just wondering if is my savings right now going anywhere? Even how small it is.
