I used to only shop the really mainstream brand clothes -- not sure what'd you call them. Like H&M, Zara, J. Crew, Uniqlo, Banana Republic, etc., and generally I've always avoided the outlets because I always heard that outlets tend to have clothes made for them. Cheaper clothes that are lower in quality and also different in style and fit.
I recently decided to check out the outlets for higher end stores like All Saints and Rag and Bone and I was really surprised. Same clothes as the mainline but just from the previous season for 40-50% off. Picked up a bunch of shirts from All Saints but the best thing I found was the Rag and Bone Black Fit 0 which only cost me $75. It's crazy cause you can find that same jean in a Bloomingdale's right now for $175.
So I guess my question is, what brands do you guys like to go to the outlets for that actually stock the main inventory, not made-for-outlet things? What places usually have the best deals?
