I bought a Filson original laptop bag a couple of years ago.
A week ago, out of nowhere, the strap broke, almost plunging my laptop down on the ground.
The problem was the "brassware", ot the snap hook to be precise. I have been irritated on their cheap look, and was apparently correct in being so.
It is made from fake brass, some kind of chinesium. And clearly not made for life or "the best" as Filson like to say.
I asked filson US for a replacement but have been transfered to filson Europe, will update with the outcome.
I do not want a chinesium replacement, only real brass will do. Do not trust the Filson snap hooks!
