I used to always have this idea that I would become a graphic designer once I bought a fancy laptop. I would watch more movies once I thought a really expensive surround system. I'm finding out that none of that is true.
For example, my old surround system just broke. I'm realizing that I didn't utilize it as much as I did (part of it is because of my apartment). So I'm downgrading to a soundbar (at least according to r/hometheater).
Trust me, I'm a geek at heart but life goes differently than what I plan to do. So far it's made my life simpler.
