Does anyone have any tips on how to negotiate lower credit card payments (Amex) for a family member who has dementia and can no longer handle their finances? I do not have legal authority to handle her bills, so I'm afraid that although I have all of the account info they will still refuse to deal with me. Any help tips are much appreciated.
