I rent a place with an open kitchen/lounge transition and the kitchen end is cold AF (tiles, front door, bathroom, sliding glass door etc)
I was in Spotlight asking about thermal/blockout curtains and it was looking like $200-$300
If I got a pair of queen size "ribbed polar fleece blankets" and hung them from the rafter - do you think they would do a half decent job of keeping the heat down the lounge/bedroom end? The split system would be just on that side of the divider.
