So I had a couple accounts on my credit report that were opened through identity theft. I disputed them and they were cleared from my report and my credit score has recovered and is now sitting in the 730s. My credit and income are both doing well and by all other standards I should have no problem being approved for a new credit card. But I keep getting denied because of the previous fraud. Is there anything I can do? I am about to go on a vacation and would like to open a new credit card in the next month or so to use on it.
