Hi Reddit after stopping by and reading posts for quite some time now I figured it was time to put one up of my own. I'm 17 and I am wanting to get started investing, I am a young entrepreneur and started a business when I was 12, I have about 10k saved up that I am wanting to start investing with. I am going to college next year and have received a full ride scholarship that pays for everything so I don't need to worry about college debt or any expenses for the next four years. I am planning on taking the money I earn working in the summers and investing that as well. I am wanting to get into stocks when I turn 18 next month but later on down the road my end goal as of right now is in real estate. Do you guys have any books or anything you would recommend reading or any tips or advice for someone in my situation? I love learning and would like to do as much as possible before I actually begin investing. I come from a pretty poor background and have seen what happens when you do not set yourself up for the future, that is a big reason why I want to start investing so early. I do not have anyone very knowledgeable around on topics like this and am very thankful for Reddit and any other resources I can get my hands on. Thanks for reading in advance I'm looking forward to hearing some advice!
