If I have $10,000 and my goal is to have $10,000 invested in VTSAX (fund has $10,000 min) is it better to buy VTSMX (fund has $3,000 min) in $3,333 increments over a period of time to use dollar cost averaging or to invest all $10,000 into VTSAX in one purchase? I don’t want to specifically time the market just not trying to buy at a high VTSAX price.
