For context, whenever I needed an appointment, meds, a dentist appointment, I had my grandma do it.

She died the day after my graduation (Not asking for sympathy, just explaining the details)

So from there, I had my mom handle everything, but she spiraled out of control and I finally learned how to make my own appointments because I wanted to get a STD test done lol.

But 2 months before my grandma died, she got me braces under her plan, and was making payments.

My mom went in, being all humble, said she'd take over payments, when they said they'd take them off for free.

She literally didn't make the first payment.

Luckily, I started a new job, and I signed up for medical, other stuff, and dental through the benefits they offered.

I have had these braces on for two years, and everywhere I went in wanted at least $400 which I couldn't afford.

I can start using dental tomorrow, but here is what the plan says:

Orthodontia: After deductible: 50% with in- or out-of-network providers

Standard metal braces or equivalent only $2,000 lifetime limit that does not count toward the dental calendar year benefit maximum If you meet the lifetime orthodontia limit, you’ll be responsible for any additional orthodontia expenses

I explained my ignorance of how reliable I was on my grandma and mom, because I have no idea what any of this means. Could someone please explain what this means? Do you think they'll cover getting them off?
