We know that cheap and frugal are different. What’s the “cheapest” thing you ever did that ended up costing you more in the long run?
I save the toys from party favor bags to re-fill my own child's party favor bags. Less waste. Less clutter.
Freezing lunch meat?
Cleaned my shower's tub with white vinegar/dawn
If you get your hamburger meat from Walmart by the pound it costs $3.48/lb for ground Chuck (80% lean 20% fat) where I live. An 8 lb. Box of 32 burger patties (also Ground Chuck) from Walmart costs $19.83. that's an entire $1 cheaper per pound.
