When I obtained my driving license, two years ago, my parents gave me 4.000€ for buying a car. I chose a BMW from 2002, maybe because I was younger and I wanted to have a BMW to seem cool.
During this two years I have had to make some repairs and maintenances, having spent my parents almost another 4.000€ on it (changing wheels, injectors and battery). Now, the car is making strange things another time.
I’m studying a degree and I only earns money giving lessons on the afternoons. I can earn 200€ per month.
I have been thinking on sell it, but they only give me 1600€ for it. If I sell it, I would have 1600€ plus 2000€ from my savings to buy another one, which would be an old car with more than 8 years.
I don’t know if repairing my car, knowing that I have already repaired some things of it; or buy another car with the budget I have, which would be an old car from which I don’t know really well it’s conditions. I mean, I know how my car it is, because I have paid for it some repairs, but I would not know how it would be the car I would have to buy if I sell mine’s and if maybe I would have to make more repairs.
I need some advice please.
