So, I am trying to make a gift. I am doing a play on the whole, "don't forget your roots" kind of thing. I have some tree roots that I want to put in like a display case. However, in a couple of months would it turn black or moldy or something? I thought maybe if I dipped in some kind of clear coat layer that might stop it?Also, since this is DIY, any tips on making a clear display case with like a wooden base, and an engraved plaque? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2GKF0Iu
