I've always followed the market but I really began converting my savings into equities this year. It's been going great but yes the recently volatility had got me thinking. However, my concern isn't bowing out...it's wondering if I can get into a better position.
For example...I have 10 shares averaging 138.35 in VTI. I'm thinking of selling them all at 138.40 and wait for the next dip to really average down.
I feel there is greater reward by selling all near 0 gain and buy in again at 133.
I don't feel this emotional investing. On the contrary, I feel the opportunity exists to get back in at a safer price than what I have now.
Any input is appreciated! Thanks
