Hioh everyone, I just moved back to the states and in the process got rid of literally every piece of furniture I owned (It was falling apart/Not practical to ship it back). I'm looking to get a good console loveseat recliner and sofa that will withstand moving every few years. I'm tired of buying a $200-300 set and throwing it away 3 years later if it doesn't survive the move.
I got a good offer from someone who owns a La-Z-Boy store and had a model he wants to get rid of: The Hayes. The sofa is what my wife and I are looking for, but recent reviews seem to say La-Z-Boy furniture is trash now. We've been shopping for a fabric sofa and console loveseat recliner that the cats won't murder and so far #!&@ing everything is leather or a microsuede the cats would tear up.
So I'm here to ask for testimonials from people who have bought La-Z-Boy in the past 3 years to see if they really have become shite, or if it's just a loud few with bad luck.
