I like to read in big cozy armchairs, sitting regular, cross-legged, feet tucked under, sideways, sideways with my back on the seat and head on an arm, etc. I used to have a chair that was the right size and shape, but I could feel the frame through the arm when I leaned on it, which is often a problem since chair makers generally don't intend for people to sit like that. In addition, we're going to have a kid in a year or two, and I would like this chair to be useful for nursing, and for holding a kid to read books to, etc. I don't care so much about reclining, but I'm not opposed to it. Are there chairs that are both good for all-positions reading, and supportive for nursing?
