I wouldn't had thought this would be so difficult but after trying a dozen plus bags, I'm still looking.
Requirements... Shoulder bag...no backpacks
Not messenger style, needs to be toploader. I dont want to be lifting flaps around to get to things
TSA/checkpoint friendly so I can unzip and split it to go through the scanner. Would ideally have a pocket or something in this area so I can stuff my phone and wallet into it as well to save putting things in another bin.
Enough room for a notebook/papers...basically 2 to 3 inches worth of space to put papers, catalogs, whatever
Enough room for a tablet, a pocket would be great but not needed.
Enough room for my bose headphones in their case. This seems to be the toughest part...all the bags are geared towards an accordion type filing system or a limited space, so the case gets smooshed in there.
A separate pen, small thing area...preferably with a little pocket to put my mouse in.
A strap/sleeve on the back to slide over rolling luggage handle.
I think that's it....basically...you're typical tsa friendly toploader with some more space to put headphones in without concern or crushing them or sacrificing papers to create said space.
I guess the last part is cost...I dont think I could spend over $300...but would prefer to be under $150, unless it just meets every need then I would pay up.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
