My old old fan has finally died for real. I need a new one to replace it. It is a white 12" oscillating table fan. It has a sticker that says "Premier Value" on the bottom, but I can't tell if that's the brand. There's not much else on it.
I use it in my bedroom to circulate air and dry my clothing that hangs nearby. It sits on top of my dresser. (I do not have room for a floor fan.) I leave it on for many days at a time. I prefer the lowest setting most of the time. (It has 3.) Also I like that it makes little irregular clicking noises (because of the oscillation) and whirring, because it covers up outdoor noises and helps me sleep. Fans I have researched so far have either not had a low setting, or have been advertised as silent, which I don't want.
My budget is... I guess I would be willing to pay $60 or so for a fan if it will do the job. Higher suggestions are welcome too, but I don't really want to spend hundreds of dollars. The fan also does not have to be 12", or white.
