So I'm looking to buy a chair for my apartment to lounge around, browse reddit, and play games in. I've looked through countless threads about office chairs, but they usually focus on Steelcase/Herman Miller/etc. chairs with lower backs and no headrest.

I'm quite fond of high-back chairs like the ones you see marketed as "gaming" chairs, but the problem with those is usually the material quality. The biggest point, for me, being that their upholstry always looks suspiciously like some bonded leather travesty that's going to start flaking off in a year or less and annoy the shit out of me.

I live in LA, so I'd really like a cloth or mesh back for the summers, although I'd settle for leather if it were guaranteed to be decent quality and the rest of the chair was great. Other desires include a fairly deep seat (~18+ inches) and a decent headrest, but I think those are pretty much a given for the style I'm looking at.

I've found a couple of chairs here and there that sort of fit what I'm looking for, but not as much information about them as I'd like, so I'm turning to you all in hopes that people have experience with this style and not just Aerons/Leaps/etc.

Budget is whatever; I'd obviously not like to overspend unnecessarily, but I'm also not afraid to drop $1k or so if the style, materials, and workmanship warrant it.
