Hello, I'm looking for recommendations and feedback on ergonomic desk chairs around $400.

I use a Steelcase Leap V2 at work and it is great but I am unable to purchase one for home use at that price. I am not interested in secondhand Steelcase/Herman Miller as a lot of resellers/local deals seem shady and I would prefer a valid warranty.

I have come across a few recommendations. I have ruled out gaming marketed chairs as they seem to have poor back and lumbar support.

I would really like to know if anyone has purchased the Steelcase Series 1 and what their opinions are on it. I have not seen many reviews online but I think it is interesting Steelcase has a chair in this price range.

Steelcase Series 1 $404

Haworth Lively $419

Uplift Pursuit $329

Autonomous ErgoChair 2 $269

Hoping to get any feedback on these or other recommendations. Thanks.

I did read some negative reviews about the Autonomous chair being a rebranded Alibaba Chinese product which resulted in their Kickstarter being terminated, however I do not believe this disqualifies the chair from being a good product. The Uplift Pursuit looks nice. I like the design, headrest and features but am not sure how comfortable/ergonomic this is compared to other products knowing Uplift primarily designs sit/stand desks. I believe the Steelcase and Haworth will be only chairs in this price range with a lifetime warranty, Autonomous has a 1 year warranty, Uplift has a 3 year warranty.

Raynor ErgoHuman $624 Is also appealing with a lifetime warranty. I really like how this looks and have seen it recommended a few times as well but this is creeping up in price beyond what I should be spending without having used one before either.
