This is obviously not for kids of an age to swallow coins, but for older kids that understand what money is, this is a frugal way of adding something else to easter eggs other than candy or disposable toys. $5 worth a bag of decent candy could be many many quarters, nickels, and dimes. We usually stick $1 bills in only a couple eggs.
This isn't a revolutionary idea, but I've come across 3 people today who hadn't heard of/thought of this so thought I'd post it.
