Paint over silicone caulking http://ift.tt/2tinngh previous owners sealed the gaps between the ceiling and beams with silicone and then painted. Obviously the paint did not take. I would like to repaint without having to scrape out and recaulk as it's a rather large space with 9 and 10 foot ceilings.
