So, as the title says, im having a tough time trying to decide where to live for my new job. So in my situation, there are three different options:
- Currently where I live, it will be an hour commute to work.
- Move to town where job is, and have about a 10-15 minute commute.
- Live at my brothers house, which will be an hour commute as well.
The first option would be viable because its closer to my girlfriend. The second option is viable, well because its a lot closer to work. The third option would have the same commute as the first, but I wont have to pay rent, utilities, or anything for a year. The only things id have to pay for is my personal things, like loan payment, insurance, etc. This will also be very close to the area where I would want to eventually move to, because of job prospects and such.
In each of the scenarios im going to be living alone, except for with my brother obviously.
Which would be the best idea? Is it going to be too much time/money on gas/maintenance to live at my brothers? Is it worth it to drive that far to be closer to where i want to be?
