I'm in my late 40s and I've had the same 4 Pampered Chef knives since I was 20. The bread knife still works perfectly, but the other three are awful. They've needed to be replaced for years. What's your favorite long lasting knives? They don't all have to be the same brand. I just want to replace them and not worry about them again anytime in the next two decades. I need a paring knife, chef's knife and carving type knife. If they last me the next 20 years, I'm not too concerned about the price. I've also been eyeing the Santoku knives for years and may get one of those, too.
