For someone who's trying to make money out of only a few hundred dollars, the $6.95 trade commission on scottrade(now td) is really not helping.
I've heard about this robinhood app, which claims to have a zero dollar commission - but I feel like there's a catch. I'm interested in hearing about it from anyone who may have used it in the past.
