I'm finding unopened cans of soup and pickles in my pantry that are all in the range of 5-10 years old and about 5+ years past printed best before dates. I'd hate to throw them out and I figure a can should be an isolated environment that spoilage can't really happen in.
Is there some well maintained database on these matters so I can take the guesswork out easily?
