Not to go into details but I’m 23, making about 30k a year pretax and I live with my parents and brother, with whom I share a room with. Basically, the house is constantly a mess, everyone is constantly arguing, and I haven’t had privacy in over 7 years.
I live in SoCal so the best I can do is rent a room for around $800 in my area but I would basically never be able to put money into savings but my logic is this: With better living conditions, I can get myself in a better state of mind to continue my degree and eventually start earning more.
