For fun, I'm investing a weekly amount ($10-$20) into about 300 individual stocks through m1finance's fractional shares pies. I added every sector available in their 'Industries & Sectors Expert Pies' onto 1 pie and my weekly contribution gets divided amongst all the pie's holdings based on its given allocation percentage. Here are my current percentages, which sectors need adjusting?
Aerospace & Defense - 8%/ Restaurants - 8%/ Retail - 8%/ Travel and Leisure - 7%/ Auto - 6%/ Food & Beverage - 6%/ Biotech - 6%/ Pharmaceuticals - 4%/ Real Estate - 3%/ Telecom - 3%/ Oil, Gas, and Coal - 3%/ Precious Metals - 3%
Bonus Question
I've added additional pies alongside this "all secs" pie and am in need of advise for more percentages. Specifically, most of the "Hedge Fund Followers expert pies", the Blue Chips, and Dow Jones expert pies. See here. What would be the best percentages to place on these picks?
I'm aware this 'investment project' would probably not be advised for several reasons (too many stock holdings, too little of an investment, higher risk than index funds, etc.) but as I've said, its for fun. I'm set up through other boring portfolios and am curious to see how this one will perform in a couple of years.
