I have a 2 month old, who needs formula (mother can't breastfeed because of medications), and we tried several. Enfamil was okay, but made her very very gassy and fussy, even the gentle one. Others were similar but also made her constipated.

So we settled on Nutramigen because she has none of those issues (she farts but is hardly fussy and she is very regular, and very happy on it). Problem is, it is 40$ for a 19.2oz can! jeez.

Anyway, at her last pediatrician appointment, we told her that we switched to it, and she said she would look for samples, and gave us 3 8oz cans! She also told us to call when she runs low and they could give us samples if they had some available.

Anyway, 24oz did not last long, so a couple weeks later I called, they were happy to set some aside for me.

I did not expect them to give me 6 8oz cans! so I got 48oz, or 96$ worth, for free! So I've been given a total of 9 cans, 72oz, for a grand total of around 144$ of free formula.

I don't expect I will be able to get them all the time, but that sure helps a frugal guy like myself through these expensive newborn times.
