Normally I get jaded doing taxes with Turbo Tax because they tell you it's entirely free upfront, then make you pay to file state taxes. Just finished filing and to my surprise their "Absolute free" deal IS infact entirely free for both federal and state. Not sure how long this deal will last, I imagine closer to the deadline they will lift this free offer so get on it while you can! I also like that at the end, the free benefits that compare your income, debt, and credit score to others in your age group and state made me happy to see I'm actually doing about as well, even slightly better than my peers. I was having a horrible weekend and doing my taxes actually put me in a good mood (never thought I'd EVER say that about doing my taxes).
