Hi r/DIY,I've been looking to mount a TV on my wall on the upper floor of my house, where the chimney breast is. I ran my metal detector over it and it goes off pretty much for the full length and width of the chimney breast.I didn't think it was a metal lintel as the detector wouldn't go off for the full surface of the breast. The setting for metal and voltage detection on my device are quite similar and it's sometimes ambiguous what is being detected but I would have been surprised if cables covered that much of the chimney.The house was probably built turn of the 20th century and is in Yorkshire, England.Any one got any ideas? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Fm6kic
