I've been having a hard time justifying buying a house to "build wealth." Once I add in HOAs, property taxes, and annual maintenance, it's $200 less than my rent. That number is before mortgage and PMI!
I stumbled upon this article recently that helped me revisit what wealth can look like as a renter. It definitely adds some perspective to my personal finance ways of thinking.
