Hello, I was wondering whether I should pass the CFA level 1 in december or learn Python/VBA instead. Right now I'm doing an apprenticeship related to corporate finance but my goal is to go towards financial markets. Jobs that are of interest to me are equity analyst/macro strategist/trader. I know it's a very broad selection and encompass different requirements but in your honest opinion what should I focus on and what would make me more employable in those areas?
