I am currently an cable/broadband (climbing ladders, carry ladders, working at the tap) technician at a large cable company and still in my six month probationary period.
About a 2 month ago, I got a stroke and stayed in the ICU. I want to go back to work, however, I cannot get obtain a back to work letter for full duty from the doctor because it too soon.
My company has held my job for me almost 2 months but now they wants me to resign due to my illness because they cannot wait any longer.
What do I do?
PS. I am located in Queens, NY.
