A while ago, I believe maybe even on this subreddit, I came across a comment or post that described a specific phenomenon where a purchase (especially a large one) has a cascading effect of causing the consumer to make a series of related purchases. I remember there was a link to an article or study about it, but I forget what it was called, and haven’t been able to find any information on it through google. Are any of you familiar with this and would you perhaps know what it’s called? I’d love to look into it more. Thanks in advance.
