Don't get me wrong: if you are with a spouse/ partner, maybe with kids and a house, etc. you should probably draw an actual budget. However, as a "single" (girlfriend does not live with me) guy in an apartment, I find I spend roughly the same month to month on various expenses just based on me being very frugal and not purchasing things I don't need. I of course still follow the basics like not carrying CC balances and paying myself first. Anybody else just "free ball" their expenses so to speak?
