I'm applying for a position at a different company, but they are requesting verification of my current salary. They have said that they have a company policy on how much they can increase your pay by. I'm not sure what the exact percent increase would be.
I've gotten great advice from this sub regarding salary negotiations, and just wanted to check in and see - Should I provide them with proof of my current salary?
As a bit of background, I feel like my current salary is under market value and would rather not provide that information. Also part of the reason why I'm looking for a new job.
