I needed an ID photo for a recent application. I saw tips (Year old posts) about printing 2x2 photos at CVS.
I discovered you cannot print a size of 2x2, they WANT you to use their passport service for 13.99 Plus tax. Luckily I'm handy with photoshop and made a 4x6 canvas and repeated my photo top to bottom so it took up the whole canvas. (Also used the ruler tool to make sure everything was in proportions.
I plan to pick them up later and use a Xacto knife and a metal ruler to cut one out. The total thing came to 33 cents plus tax at CVS. My photo was ready in 25mins instead of paying a site to print and mail it or going to the post office.
Sidenote: Yes, Photoshop costs money... And I used my nice Sony Camera. But there are alternatives and free trails for photoshop. The US government also has a free site to crop your photo.
