While in the process of doing work in the basement of my house I discovered some remaining electrical: http://ift.tt/2FVkfbO Brand is ETTCO WIRE & CABLE - 600V. I believe it is the original wiring (installed 1956). It is 14 AWG with no ground. It looks like it has a black cloth sheet with some kind of white coating on the outside. I am wondering if this is suspect for asbestos? Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I need to remove some of it for my renovations. Any help is appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2FOwkUw
