I have a pair of 9044s and am looking for a belt to match them. My belt preferences are basically these for which I own both the black and brown. The brown is just too dark though. To list off the features I like:

Simple one piece leather. No stitching on the long edges.

Simple clasp that looks good but doesn't draw attention.

No roller on the clasp.

Preferably with stitching instead of a grommet to hold the loop, but thats not such a big deal.

The 1.35" width is nice, but I'm not married to it.

Decent value. I don't need super primo chrome tanned horse butt 27oz artisanal made in Connecticut by reformed scientologists leather. $40 for a simple leather belt is acceptable.
