We have a leak in our living room ceiling that is definitely rain related. Had a friend with his own roofing business take a look and said there was an exposed part of the roof that needed flashing. I added flashing to the spot and to another spot that I thought might be suspect. It didn't fix it. In fact, if anything, it's gotten worse.I need to go into our attic and find where the leak is coming from, but the entire floor is covered in insulation (and the entrance is roughly 20ft from the small hole in the ceiling). I'm afraid of breathing it in, and I'm afraid of stepping somewhere and having my foot go clean through the ceiling.Any advice anyone can give would be immensely helpful.
